Where do I start!? Milene and team were professional from the beginning to the end. I received quotes elsewhere and D&E were the best priced with quality work. I am 100% satisfied with their work and the entire experience.

Dave and crew did an amazing job. My husband and I started our flooring project but we needed Design and Elegance to fix and finish it. Milene is very thorough and gives updates throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend them for any flooring needs. You will not be disappointed ????

I just wanted to share our experience with Design & Elegance. The installation crew were very professional and informative on each step throughout the process of the flooring installation. Milene was unbelievably detailed, responsive, and proactive during the entire project. We did a whole house remodel and had the best experience of all contractors with this group. Price and craftsmanship both excellent. We recommend without reservation.

They put hardwood stairs in, installed new newel posts and balisters, and finished up some engineered hardwood flooring that I’d been slowly working on for months. Price was reasonable and they did a great job. Milene was great to work with as we tried to settle on the scope of work. Would highly recommend.

Design & Elegance was a pleasure to work with. They fit our project into their schedule while we were out of town. Communication through the project was outstanding with daily updates provided. The finished product was stunning. Our floor was transformed from the old, worn wood to a brand new stain and finish. Our home looks completely different now. Working with Dave and Milene was a wonderful experience. From the business side of things it was so easy. Milene answered all of our questions timely and walked us through the entire process from start to finish. We valued this communication as it cut down on any surprises. From the work itself, Dave and his crew did an amazing job! They treated our floors and our home as if it were their own. They worked with great care and time in completing the job. While this was a very disruptive process, Dave and Milene made it very easy and we are so happy with the final product!!

“We recently purchased an older home that was filled with horribly cheap laminate floors with a glued down parquet underneath and ugly, old carpet. We were about an hour away booking with a different contractor when we realized what they were charging us was insane for what we needed done. So I went back to the Lead Site and had four more contractors come out and give us a quote, including Home Depot. Design & Elegance came out and was by far the most competitive quote and by far the most professional. They were tasked with tearing up over 1000 sq-ft of carpet, laminate and glued down original floors form the 80s. They installed brand new, beautiful LVP floors and new baseboards. Milene is extremely easy to talk to and so supportive and informative. She is very responsive and is always available to answer questions, and I had a lot. They walked us through the entire process from planning, to where the best place to get material for the project to execution of installing our new floors. They were at our house a week and did amazing, thorough work. They take their time to ensure that what they are doing is done correctly and perfectly. They even fixed all the annoying squeaks in my subfloors from the age of the house. During the installation they were efficient and clean – In would come home after each day they were working ( we weren’t moved in at the time they were working ) and we were always impressed with how clean and efficiently they worked. If you need to get new floors installed I 200% recommend them. You can’t go wrong hiring Design & Elegance.”

“We used Design Elegance to refinish the floors on our newly purchased 1920s bungalow. We loved that the home had its original floors, but the old finish had worn away in many places. We hadn’t moved in yet, so we wanted to have the floors refinished before moving our furniture in (a very tight timeline). We reached out to a number of companies for estimates, but Milene at Design Elegance was by far our top choice. Of all the companies we received estimates from, Milene was the only one who wanted to see the floors in person before quoting us or agreeing to our tight timeline. She toured the house with us, asked great questions, and provided us with a fair, detailed, and clear estimate. “I spent several weeks searching for a company to install new Pergo laminate flooring in my residence. Many of the contractors were vastly overpriced for labor or couldn’t fit me in the schedule for several months! I was so blessed to find Design Elegance and meet Milene, Dave and their crew. They fit me in their schedule within 2 weeks of the initial consultation and they accommodated my work schedule. Milene was fantastic as she explained the step-by-step process for the install and what to expect. Dave was great as he and his crew worked hard and fast to get the work done and ensure I was happy with the final result. The clean up was very impressive as well! I feel like my house has been transformed as the floor upgrade was long overdue. The work was completed in just a day and a half for 3 bedrooms and a hallway with new flooring & baseboards. I look forward to having the crew back out in a month when the treads for my stair remodel arrive! “I was very pleased with the job. Communication was fantastic, Milene was very detailed and walked through all of the steps with me about what to expect, payment, etc. I was so appreciative of them texting me with a picture of two stains on my floor to determine which one I wanted to go with. The one I originally told them to use looked much more yellow than the natural look that I was going for. I am so grateful that they sent me the pictures before they began staining because I would’ve been disappointed had they completed the project with my original selection. I appreciated them taking the time to make sure I was content (and letting me view the two samples on my floor beforehand). Each day she would send me a text letting me know that they were done for the day & what work had been completed that day. She is very responsive and was thorough with talking me through the “dos and don’ts” of my new flooring. I’m very pleased with their work & highly recommended them.”

My floors had not been done since 1997. They had some pretty deep scratches in them and I was concerned if they would come out. The process that they use removed all of the scratches! They did a great job. Anytime I had a concern it was addressed right away. I highly recommend them. Very reputable company and easy to work with.

“We contracted Design & Elegance to install engineered hardwood on our main floor. Milene promptly responded to our project request and came out within a day to review the project and give us a quote. Throughout the decision-making process, she answered our questions quickly and thoroughly. We selected Design & Elegance for our project. They were able to start about a week later which worked perfectly since we were having other work done and needed the floors to be completed first. During the installation process, we received an update on their progress at the end of each day and frequently received photos (great since we were on vacation the first week)! The job was completed within the specified timeframe and the floor looks beautiful! We would definitely hire Design & Elegance again.”

“The entire crew at design and excellence were just awesome. Milene was great with her willingness to work with us in altering our plans or being flexible with cost of we could remove old flooring to save money. Dave and his crew were just exceptional on their quality of work. 600sqft of vinyl flooring installed downstairs and brand new hickory treads with custom stain and mdf risers on the stairs going up. Was quoted 6 days for prep and install and they had it done in 3!!! Very well priced. Some parts are on backorder from our supplier and they are more than happy to come back and finish the rest of the install when the parts come in. Exceptional quality of work.
